Japanese Maple Brooch - Leaf

The Japanese Maple is a slow growing shrub or small tree with soft green palmate leaves that colour to a rich crimson in autumn. The long stalked clusters of purplish-red flowers are followed by "key" like fruits with two wings. The helicopters or whirly birds that filled the sky of our childhood.

Materials: The Japanese Maple brooch is cast in bronze and hand patinated in our signature green patination.
